I do not have the hyper-focus feature on any of my lenses. I used a wide angle lens (18-55 mm at 55 mm) to capture the waterfountain. My goal was to have everything in focus from the front to the back and only have the water have a blurred view to show movement (I used a 1/60th sec shutter speed, I could have gone slower but I didnt like the look at a slower speed).
